Introducing Dylan Donlon
Dylan Donlon joined ACB Group in May 2022 as part of his 3rd Year work placement experience. Dylan joined ACB as a ‘Digital Project Coordinator’, working on-site to gain hands-on experience in Construction Management. Dylan is currently back in Sligo IT completing his 4th and final year in his BA Hons in Construction Management Course.
Dylan’s ACB Experience
ACB Group hired Dylan as a Digital Project Coordinator. The role was site-based in Newbridge at the Primark Distribution Centre and developed in order to give Dylan the ultimate experience that would benefit his final year of study and his career.
The role Dylan completed “involved a lot of liaising with different Project Managers, clientele, and other subcontractors” while also being tasked with daily material management on-site. Dylan was also responsible for all ACB’s plant and machinery on-site and controlling costs from a site point of view.
Dylan explained how “colleagues are really helpful and have helped me settle in, especially coming from the college world”.
